About
There are nearly 8 billion people in the world. One million people is vastly more people than any one of us knows personally, but still represents only .000125% of the human race.
It’s easy to feel powerless as one person, but you are not. Your thoughts, your breath, what you choose to do, buy, where you go, and what you say. Your voice matters, every action is multiplied by a million. Every action matters.
What do a million of us look like? What can we do together? We don’t agree on everything- sometimes we don’t agree on anything- but we live here together, let’s see what that looks like.
I want you to be a part of this project. Please submit a picture of yourself, or any other portraits that you have consent to publish publicly. It can be any medium other than unaltered photo. AI-generated, pencil, crayon, paint, collage, whatever you can think of.
Size: 3:4 proportion, so we can tile them. Some variant of 10 cm x 13.33 cm, 13.33 x 17.77 cm, 20 x 26cm, and up. 300 DPI or higher would be nice, in case we can ever exhibit in a physical location.
If you would like the option to sell your work on the site, just give me a link to add in. Let me know how you would like to be credited, and if the portrait subject is not you, how they would like to be credited.
